Chapter Ten

It was near impossible to act casual and normal during the employee Christmas party when less than twenty-four hours ago she’d been getting double penetrated by the two men standing beside her. In a swing, for God’s sake.

Okay, she wasn’t completely certain if that detail somehow made her more depraved. The fact that she’d loved the hell out of it? Yeah, probably.

Butterflies dancing around in her belly, she watched Donna call up the next staff member for the Secret Santa exchange. This part of the festivities was strictly for the employees. She, Ry and Bram had already passed out everyone’s bonus checks, something that was likely more welcome and useful than a ten-dollar-or-under gift.

Ry’s cell phone suddenly buzzed, and he glanced down at it. “Shit, it’s my uncle. I better go take this.”

While Ry ducked out of the room, Bram settled his hand on her shoulder and leaned down to whisper in her ear. “So what item do you want to mark off tonight?”

She knew that even if anyone had overheard him, the question would sound completely innocent. Which would make the blush that was no doubt riding her cheeks seem strange and uncalled for. She cleared her throat quietly. “None. I already made plans with your sister.”

His fingers brushed her nape, tickling the fine hairs there and making goose bumps crop along her skin. “You could cancel them. She’d understand.”

She snorted. “Please, this is Jana we’re talking about. Besides, that would be rude. And my life doesn’t revolve around you and Ry, you know.”

Bram chuckled, apparently not concerned by her testiness. “Ah, darlin’. Seemed like you were revolving between us just fine last night.”

He would have to bring that up. Biting her lip, she resisted the urge to press her legs together when her clit throbbed in response to his smoky words. She hadn’t entirely been joking when she’d mentioned buying one of those harness swings. The experience they’d given her in it last night? Talk about out of this world. Of course, it might be a little difficult—not to mention awkward—explaining its function if her parents were to accidentally see it. Somehow she doubted they’d believe her if she said it was a plant stand.

“Earth to Lacey.”

She snapped out of her mental musings and peered up at Bram again. “Hmm?”

“I asked where you and Jana are going tonight.”

She narrowed her eyes at him. “Nice try. If I tell you, you and Ry will just decide to barge in on us.”

Bram tried for an innocent look. “Now would we ever do something so devious?”

“Yes. Hence the reason I’m not telling you jack shit.”

Ry chose that moment to rejoin them. “Not tell him what?”

She opened her mouth, but Bram beat her to the punch. “Where my wayward sister is taking her tonight.” Bram gave an exaggerated shudder. “I bet it will involve—gasp—drinking. And excessive man ogling.”

“Har har, Colton. Just for that you can bite me.”
